The dog kennel and run is manufactured from quality and sustainable 5th Scandinavian redwood. This quality timber ensures the dog kennel has a top quality finish that will last. Even the knots in the timber are live, which reduces the risk of them falling out.

The Alexandra Dog Kennel and Run is a very smart versatile kennel and covered run. It provides a day bench sleeping box configuration for your dog, the day box as a removable front which allows for easy access and cleaning of the dog kennel sleeping area.

Kennel and Run Quality Manufacturing

The kennel is raised off the floor by 66mm with damp proof feet; this keeps the sleeping area free from damp but also allows for easy cleaning and swilling away. You can see from the picture of the sleeping box above that you can also add as an optional extra galvanised strips to protect edges from chewing.

All our dog kennels can be mounted on our purpose built dog ennel bases which allow for easy placement and levelling of your dog kennel and run.

With all stages of the dog kennel manufacturing process no short cuts are taken to ensure the finished dog kennel and run are of the highest build quality from the kennel base to the kennel roof. We apply quality and our experience to every process.

Dog Kennel and Run Roofing

You can be sure your dog will be kept dry with Timberbuild's choice of roofing material. Timberbuild Dog Kennels and Dog Kennel Covered Runs use a 38kg green mineral felt (not shed felt) which is held in place with batons and facer boards.

As an optional extra we can also provide Onduline (corrugated bitumen sheets). Onduline or PVC coated corrugated sheeting are used on our stables and larger buildings.

The Alexandra designed Dog Kennel and run lends itself to either a single kennel assembly our as a double dog kennel and run which can be assembled end to end.

Double Dog Kennel and Run

The double dog kennel and run is joined together by attaching the ends of the run area together, the runs are then divided with an internal wood framed mesh separating wall which provides two individual kennels allowing you to keep your dogs apart. If you need two kennels buying a double kennel rather than two single dog kennels and runs will save you over £100. It's also the best use of your available space.

We have designed manufactured and assembled this kennel and so we are able to customise sizes and specifications such as height, length, width and other alterations to run lengths and separating walls etc. You can buy standard sizes here and also add optional extras such as anti chew protection, kennel bases, kennel lining, shutters, bar infills. Don't be fooled by cheep standard alternatives that give you a false economy.

Galvanised Bar Dog Kennels

We have galvanised bar options available for our dog kennels and runs these are mainly two levels of upgrade, firstly you may want to change external mesh infill's in kennel doors and runs to galvanised bar.

Delivery and Assembly

Timberbuild is a family run business and we are always looking to give our customers the best value possible, so we give these standard delivery rates but will always try and share delivery costs if we have multiple deliveries to similar areas and may be able to offer discounts on the standard delivery.

We manufacture our kennels in house and test assemble all kennels before delivery. The kennels are very easy to assemble but we do offer a delivery and assembly service.
